The Imperial Hotel Taipei was previously an InterContinental Hotel. Currently, it is being operated as an independent Hotel. I attended the very first meetings with the Owner. The Hotel was in the worst condition of any Hotel I had ever seen. It was very obvious that the Hotel, at that time, required a total renovation together with many area modifications to conform to the InterContinental standards.

We proceeded with the various technical disciplines to redesign the entire property. Construction then proceeded under the management of a Project Manager appointed by my office and later under my direct management.
