The Sheraton Moana-Surfrider is an 800 room Hotel complex, directly on Waikiki Beach. The Moana is the first Hotel that was built in Hawaii. It dates from 1901. Princes, Kings, Presidents all stayed at the Moana in it's early days. In the 80's, the Moana was completely renovated in conformance with US regulations for Registered Historical Landmarks. The objective was to bring the Moana back to the glory of it's original design. The Renovation required closing the Hotel with the removal and replacement of all utilities.

The Restored Hotel has won numerous awards for Historical Renovations.
